Regan Cole-Graham, 7-Month-Pregnant Mother of Two, Dies After Being Struck by Car While Riding Bicycle With Family in Los Angeles Area

A pregnant mother of two was killed after being struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle alongside her husband and children in the greater Los Angeles area, according to family statements and a verified fundraiser.

Regan Cole-Graham, 36, died on January 31 while seven months pregnant. She was riding bikes with her husband, Matt Graham, and their two young sons when the crash occurred. Details surrounding the incident remain limited, and authorities have not yet identified the driver involved.

According to a GoFundMe created on behalf of the family and confirmed as authentic, Cole-Graham’s unborn baby girl was delivered and transported to the NICU at UCLA Children’s Hospital for treatment. The infant later died.

“Tragically, Regan’s cherished baby girl passed away last night,” fundraiser organizer Carter Fondon wrote in an update. “Please continue to hold Matt and the boys in your thoughts and prayers. We are all truly grateful for the outpouring of support.”

The fundraiser describes Cole-Graham as “a loving and devoted wife, a fierce and joyful mother, a hilarious and loyal sister, and a beautiful, fiery daughter.” Funds are being raised to assist with funeral expenses and to support Graham as he cares for their two sons.

Photos shared on the fundraising page show Cole-Graham and her husband smiling with their children at the beach, on their wedding day, and during family outings. In several images, Cole-Graham is seen proudly showing her pregnant belly.

Independent journalist Chris Cillizza shared the fundraiser on social media, noting that Matt Graham is a longtime personal friend.

“On Saturday night, my college friend Matt Graham, his wife Regan Cole-Graham and their two young boys were riding bikes in Los Angeles,” Cillizza wrote. “She was struck by a car and killed. She was also seven months pregnant with their third child — a little girl.”

As of February 2, the fundraiser had raised more than $109,000 toward its $120,000 goal, with donations continuing to pour in from across the country.

Messages of condolence filled the donation page, with one supporter writing, “Matt, I’m so, so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the pain you and your sons are going through, but please know I’m thinking of you and your family during these trying times.”

As of publication, the Los Angeles Police Department has not released details regarding the driver involved or whether charges may be forthcoming. PEOPLE reported that it has reached out to LAPD for comment.
