The incident, which has circulated widely on social media, shows Goins involved in a heated verbal altercation with a group of Black women while onboard the train. According to footage and witness accounts, the confrontation escalated as insults were exchanged, eventually prompting Goins to exit the subway car.
Just as the doors were closing, Goins allegedly turned back and shouted a racial slur toward the women inside the train. The remark sparked immediate outrage, with those inside reacting angrily and attempting to reopen the doors, though the train departed before they could do so.
