According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the 49-year-old was found with at least one gunshot wound after authorities responded to a call on Bruce Road.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 2:22 p.m. on March 20, 2026, to 224 Bruce Road, where they located Blue suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:48 p.m.
An autopsy conducted on March 21 confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound, and officials have ruled the manner of death a homicide.
