Lil Mikey [Jaro City] Shot Dead in South Drexel Avenue Shooting, Chicago Police Investigate

Chicago police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man known as Lil Mikey [Jaro City] on the 6200 block of South Drexel Avenue. The incident occurred just after 11:30 a.m., authorities reported.

According to police, the victim was sitting in a vehicle when two male suspects approached in a white Mercedes. An argument reportedly broke out, and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired at the man.

The victim was struck in the chest and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and no arrests have been announced.
