Argument Over Cell Phone and $100 Leaves Two Dead in Mooretown: Tacarra Johnson on the Run After LeMario Brossie and Jarvis Taylor Shoot Each Other on Facebook Live

Shreveport, LA — LeMario Brossie, 38, and Jarvis Taylor, 42, tragically lost their lives following a violent argument over a damaged cell phone and $100 in the Mooretown neighborhood. The dispute escalated into a deadly shootout, which was broadcasted live on Facebook. Tacarra Johnson, who was involved in the altercation, is currently on the run after both men were fatally shot during the confrontation.

A Dispute That Turned Deadly

The argument began late on April 20, 2026, around midnight, when Brossie went live on Facebook, recording himself as the tension between him, Johnson, and others grew over a broken phone. The confrontation was reportedly fueled by Johnson’s demand to have her phone returned and the ongoing dispute about money. The situation, initially tense, rapidly spiraled into a violent altercation.

Witnesses said that Johnson, caught in the middle of the dispute, wanted not just the phone back but control over the situation—emotions running high and logic fading into the background.

The Facebook Live Incident

The argument became public when LeMario Brossie started recording the encounter on Facebook, hoping to document the exchange. In the video, Brossie can be seen attempting to settle the situation by handing over $100, even offering more if it would end the conflict. However, the situation continued to escalate as words were exchanged, and the tension in the room grew palpable.

At one point, Brossie tried to walk away, handing over the phone case and attempting to end the confrontation. But by then, the situation had already reached a point where it could not be diffused.

Gunfire Erupts, Two Men Dead

Reports indicate that during a struggle between LeMario Brossie and Jarvis Taylor—Johnson’s boyfriend—the two men fought over a gun. In the heat of the struggle, a shot was fired, striking both men in the femoral arteries. The impact of the gunfire was immediate and fatal.

Shreveport police and firefighters rushed to the scene as nearly eight people fled the house, leaving both Brossie and Taylor bleeding on the floor. Despite being rushed to Ochsner LSU Health, both men were pronounced dead from their injuries.

“This is somewhat of a rare occurrence, two individuals struck in the lower extremities and both deceased,” said Cpl. Chris Bordelon of the Shreveport Police Department.

The Search for Tacarra Johnson

Following the deadly incident, Tacarra Johnson is now a fugitive, with authorities actively searching for her. As of now, she has not been charged, but her involvement in the incident remains a key focus of the investigation.

The Tragic Outcome

What started as a verbal dispute over money and a cell phone quickly escalated into a violent confrontation that ended in the loss of two lives. The gunshot wounds sustained by both men were fatal, and their families are now left to cope with the aftermath of this senseless violence.

For Johnson, the phone and the $100 were seemingly the catalysts for a tragedy that no one could have predicted. The emotional toll of the incident is still being felt by the families and the community, which is grappling with the shock of the violence that unfolded on that fateful night.
