Terrell Police Investigate Homicide After Kenneth W. Mims Found Shot at Breezy Hill Park

Terrell authorities are investigating a homicide after Kenneth W. Mims, 42, of Dallas, was shot and killed Sunday night at Breezy Hill Park.

According to the Terrell Police Department, officers responded around 9:48 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the 300 block of New Hope Street. Upon arrival, they found Mims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid until medics arrived, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

At this time, no suspects have been identified, and police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
