Milwaukee Brewers Fan Shannon Kobylarczyk Fired by ManPowerGroup After Threatening to Call ICE on Dodgers Fan Ricardo Fosado During Game

A Milwaukee Brewers fan identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk has been fired from her job at ManPowerGroup after a viral video captured her threatening to “call ICE” on a Latino Los Angeles Dodgers fan, Ricardo Fosado, during a heated playoff game this week in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The incident, which quickly spread across social media, showed Kobylarczyk, now dubbed the “Brewers Karen,” directing a racially charged remark at Fosado, a U.S. Navy veteran and American citizen, during Game 2 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) on Tuesday night.

In the video, Fosado is heard cheering after the Dodgers took a lead, saying, “Why’s everybody so quiet? What is this?”—to which Kobylarczyk shouted back, “Let’s call ICE!” referencing the U.S. immigration enforcement agency.

Unfazed, Fosado responded: “Call ICE! Call ICE! I’m a U.S. citizen, war veteran, baby girl. Two wars. ICE can’t do anything to me.” The video also shows Kobylarczyk attempting to slap Fosado’s phone and calling him an expletive.

Within hours, the clip went viral on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, garnering over one million views and sparking widespread outrage. Online users quickly identified Kobylarczyk, leading to demands for accountability from her employer, ManPowerGroup, a global workforce solutions firm.

Milwaukee Brewers Karen aka Shannon Kobylarczyk fired after threatening to call ICE on Latino Dodgers baseball fan, Ricardo Fosado.
In a statement posted to Instagram, ManPowerGroup confirmed that the employee involved had been terminated, saying:

“As soon as we became aware of this video, the individual was placed on immediate leave and we began an investigation. As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization. We remain committed to maintaining a culture grounded in respect, integrity, and accountability.”

Following her termination, Kobylarczyk deleted her LinkedIn and Facebook accounts and also resigned from her board position with the Wisconsin chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles.

Fosado, who serves as CEO of Foxtrot Construction, told reporters that he believes Kobylarczyk “let her true colors show,” adding that both he and a friend were ejected from American Family Field after the altercation.

“My friend asked, ‘Why am I getting kicked out? What did my friend do?’ The only reason they gave anybody is because we’re Dodgers fans,” Fosado said.

The original Instagram post that helped identify Kobylarczyk was shared by Fosado’s friend, who condemned the incident, writing:

“This kind of racism and ignorance has no place anywhere — not at a baseball game, not in our communities, not in our country. My friend has served this nation with honor, yet he was treated with hate and disrespect just because of how he looks.”

The viral fallout against Kobylarczyk follows a string of similar public shaming incidents involving individuals caught displaying racist or aggressive behavior at public events.
