Jonathan Skattebo Reportedly Found in Shower at Madison Heights Home; Police Continue Investigation [VIDEO]

Authorities in Madison Heights, Michigan, were searching Sunday for a missing 6-year-old boy with autism after he was last seen in the area near Parliament and Hales, according to Michigan State Police.

The child was identified as Jonathan Skattebo, who was described as approximately 4 feet tall, weighing about 65 pounds, with brown hair and gray-blue eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing a blue and black winter coat.

Officials noted that Jonathan is nonverbal and has specific behaviors that may influence where he seeks shelter. According to police, he is drawn to water and spinning objects and has a tendency to hide in cold, dark places, which heightened concern for his safety.

While the official search was underway, unconfirmed reports circulating online later claimed that Jonathan was found inside a shower at a residence connected to an individual identified as La’bron Brinkley. As of publication, authorities have not publicly confirmed those details, and police have not released information verifying where or how the child was located.

Law enforcement has urged the public to rely on official updates as the investigation continues and emphasized that early information in missing-child cases can evolve rapidly.

Anyone with information related to Jonathan Skattebo’s whereabouts was asked to contact Madison Heights Police or call 911 immediately.
