BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH — A tragic intersection collision in Trumbull County has claimed the life of William Howard Price Jr., a 68-year-old Hubbard resident, devoted family man, and United States Navy veteran.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the fatal accident occurred on May 30 on State Route 82 at Warner Road in Brookfield Township. Price was operating a motorcycle westbound on State Route 82 when a Jeep pulled out from a stop sign. Investigators confirmed the driver of the Jeep failed to yield the right of way, causing Price's motorcycle to strike the side of the vehicle.
Price was rushed to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with critical injuries, where he ultimately passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, despite extensive medical efforts. The driver of the Jeep was also hospitalized but is reported to be okay. OSHP officials noted that alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors, and the crash remains under investigation.

Born on December 11, 1957, in Youngstown to William H. Price Sr. and Beverly Card Price, William was a proud 1976 graduate of Hubbard High School. Following his graduation, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy.
For many years, William worked as a skilled fitter and welder at Extreme Machine & Fabrication in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved riding motorcycles, hunting, working with his hands, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. Above all, he cherished spending time with his loved ones.
William leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 33 years, the former Joyce Glass, whom he married on August 14, 1993. He is also survived by his children, Ian T. (Morgan) Price of McDonald, Holly Brest of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, and Rachel Kimmel of Masury; his four grandchildren, Cedric, Saphire, Quinn, and Kylie; his mother, Beverly Crawford of The Villages, Florida; and his sister, Debbie (Wade) Martin, also of The Villages. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services are being handled by Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home, with calling hours scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by a 6:00 p.m. service. Condolences and memories can be shared on the funeral home's official website.
